::My daughter stayed there in cabins thank goodness for 1 night, she said it might be abit old and run down but no excuses for it to be unclean and maybe you need someone to do a poopa , scoopa run around the place, could be a good business.

::Off on the wrong foot right from our arrival at this park.... Caretaker had no record of our booking for two sites (booked three months in advance and then confirmed 6 weeks before our arrival) so we were placed in the worst two sites in the park, no grass, and along the boundary with the highway and service station. Bore water in Winton has quite a significant smell to it but that is no fault of the caravan park. Just ensure you have plenty of drinking water on board before arriving in Winton. The ammenities were clean as was the pool. Unfortunately arriving back to the park on our final night after dinner at the pub we found the caretaker had directed another caravan to park on the concrete slab of our site so essentially the park was taking two lots of rent for the same site. (I was too tired to pursue the caretaker about this and we were leaving the next morning anyway) I would only stay at this park again if I could not find any alternate accomodation......I would even just park up on the highway before coming to this park again.

::Admittedly we received a $10.00 discount off $100 as the TV didn't work in the cabin,but went to use the Microwave oven and found the smoke detector inside with no batteries. So obviously the rooms are not re-checked when people vacate. With some TLC it would make a great rest stop for travelers.
