  Getting to this McDonald's while heading into Cairns couldn't be easier. Getting to it while leaving Cairns is a bit of a struggle. I guess I'm used to signs everywhere directing me to the closest McDonald's, but not with this one. I'm not saying this as a bad thing, the signs are ugly, and everyone has GPS navigation on their phone. This is a residential McDonald's which means you're going to get a lot of children running around. In addition to this the staff are usually younger. Aside from that, its your average Australian McDonald's. Only 4 stars as they don't offer free refills. I recognize this is a McDonald's Australia policy, but affects the entire brand. In most other countries McDonald's recognizes the cup as the expense and offers free same-visit refills. Would be nice to see that brought here too.

  Toilets are awful. Food is made without much thought on its appearance. Brown edged lettuce and have of the filling was falling out. Order is 90% is correct most of the time.

  Burgers were good and fresh, but fries and nuggets were SO old, litterally like cardboard! We fed the nuggets to the dogs in the end (probably not a good idea tho-poor dogs). Definitely ask for fresh fries and nuggets if you come here! We complained, they replaced the whole meal and again the nuggets were hard and old, may i suggest a quicker turnover!?

  Forgot to give me my apple pie with my coffee earlier but all good , luckily gave me one when came back to get lunch for my kids. otherwise all good these things happen. Everyone cheerful polite staff. It was pretty busy at lunch. Can you label the papers. Half paper was stolen, the jobs realestate, so customers are pretty slack. Blokes were hogging the papers. The server was very nice and helpful. Order 148. Thanks.

  Pretty good maccas. Clean, fast. Kids playground is good. Better than Edmonton one, at least (not that that's hard)
