The zoo has a area good for picnics with lots of eating spaces. You do have to pay for parking though. With a guide map you can't get lost. There's allocated areas for certain animals so it's pretty easy to get around

A great place for kids to come on the weekend, lots of different exotic animals and different enclosures. The lemur enclosure was pretty amazing because you can walk through it and see the lemurs up close. There is also a music festival held at twilight for all the adults.

Last Tuesday me and my whole biology class went there for researching about animal behaviour for our biology test. We had a lots of fun there. This place has such a nice and cute animals. Also the gift shop there, were haveing really good gifts. Trust me we all enjoyed a lot. Now I am planning to visit there again however with my friends. And should definitely recommend all of my known store visit there. Thankful to all the zoo members and keeper and all kind of staff for making my day memorable.

Absolutely LOVED the zoo. It's massive and it takes a few hours for you to be able to explore it properly so it would be advisable for you to get there early. The animals are absolutely breathtaking and they are well taken care of and it is just beautiful. And the gift shop is so cute, they have plushies of all the animals and they're all so ADORABLE, it's hard to just get only one thing and leave. An absolute must see for anyone visiting Australia for the first time. This place literally made my holiday, one of the best trips of my life.

Absolutely a must visit for a family. They taken very good care of the place and the animals. It's easy to find you way around. But would advise to come early as it would take few hours to explore all. Or buy a family membership and visit in chunks. The elephant trails was absolutely amazing. It felt like it was heaven for them. Ample parking available but paid. It's quite cheap.
