Entering into the bookshop is welcoming and warm, and the lucky table sitting there will feel either lucky or uncomfortable as they are right near the front window by themselves but surrounded by so many lovely books! A number of options to eat but dishes were hit-and-miss; my Green Bowl was nicely seasoned and exactly what I wanted, but my sister's Hawaiian Poké Bowl was bland and disappointing, with cold undercooked rice and no exciting flavours. My soy coffee was nicely done. A little on the expensive side coming from Melbourne at $18-$20 per dish but a pleasant option for those staying at the attached hotel or in the area.

Great food, great coffee....terrible service. Came in for a quick breakfast before work. Waited 5 min to be seated in a half empty restaurant, no goodmorning or pleasantries. Ordered the egg bacon roll and a coffee. Both were excellent but took 20min to come out and the coffee came out after the roll. Being let down by some inefficiency and less than friendly staff. I'd say to go here but just keep the above in mind.

First time to this restaurant and last time. It took 90 minutes after ordering before food was delivered. They were not very busy and the food was very poor and the prices definitely did not reflect the quality. Meal took so long that our vehicles ended up being locked up in the pay parking. Not an experience that I want to redo in the future.

I will never stop being grateful for Muse, it brings to Canberra the perfect combination of books, culture and food. The Sunday literary events always leave an impression on me and the general breadth of programming makes is one of the most stand out venues in the city. The range of books is also sooo good, stocking so many limited release Australian writers and lots of feminist and queer books too. AND just to top it off they always have an excellent gin at the bar!

Very nice place. We had a really good breakfast. Service was good too. I recommend the "Mediterranean Breakfast" (bottom left on the photo).
