::Would have been nice if they cared a bit more. They were meant to replace my car radio. Dropped it off on Tuesday to get a call saying they would finish by Wednesday. I agreed. No one called me Wednesday. I rang them Thursday to see what was going on and the guy I talked to said someone rang and left a voicemail with me. They didn't and I even double checked for any missed calls or VM. None. Went to pick up the car and it was an absolute mess! There were metal parts still inside, the dash carpet was thrown in the back still and all my paperwork from my glove compartment was thrown on the floor as well as my CDs. One was even cracked. Then I noticed the interior light was left on for who knows how long.If they finished it the day before than I can imagine it was on for a whole day! I just bought a brand new battery so what a waste. Very annoyed about the lack of care they took in this job.

::Yesterday we had a mid road trip emergency when the new 4WDs alternator gave up after only 12000km. These guys were obviously busy as can be and they had some staff away as well so after finding very little help elsewhere we were prepared to be disappointed and delayed for at least a day if not longer. Well they pulled all the stops out and it was obvious that they went well out of their way to help us and we were back on the road in about 4 hours with a better alternator than the factory fitted one. This is a great example of what good customer service should look like. Thanks to Newcastle Auto Electrics we got home to Canberra last night as originally planned. Highly recommended.
