  Some of the food was absolutely delicious. I can't remember all of the courses exactly but the halloumi was excellent and the cured meat with soft cheese and honey was amazing. Not sure if we were just full already but the chicken wasn't anything to write home about. I would go back but order individual items rather than from a set menu.

  Went for my birthday and could not find any faults. it was perfect. We ordered many of the dishes and each came out bold, flavourful, interesting and well cooked. Our favourites were the spatchcock and the cauliflower. Order the orange parfait for dessert. It’s refreshing and light after all the bold flavours of the grill. Service and atmosphere were on point. Other than the food, what I really loved was the energy of the place, everyone around us seemed to be having a wonderful time.

  Great Easter Thursday Dinner. We sat at the bar which was great, we got to chat wine and footy with the bar manager all night, great job Adelaide Chris. Trout was delicious!

  This is one of the best restaurants in Sydney, tucked away in the backstreets of Surry Hills you immediately walk into a huge and beautifully laid out dining space (get a seat at the bar which overlooks the kitchen if you can). The service is efficient, fast and friendly. With all the positives in mind the best aspect of the restaurant is the food, it is absolutely delicious and the portions are reasonable for the prices. Definitely go in a larger group here so you can try more of the menu, as it is designed for sharing

  The food, is excellent. It's just a pity that they rush you so they can kick you out after 2 hours. On a Saturday night, booked a couple of months in advance for a 10+ group. We were happy with the cheaper set menu (set menus are mandatory for groups larger than a few people). Lucky we had the smaller set menu too as our dessert arrived 4 minutes before our 2 hour time limit. There was enough food, and while they didn't have a number of the wines on the wine list, we eventually found some wines which they had, and they were great (also more expensive than the 'sold out' wines). Presentation was lovely, most of the staff super friendly and the space is really nice and not too loud - even with a large group we could chat across the table. Almost exactly at our 2 hour time limit, we were told they needed the table, and that we should go next door to Tio's for drinks. After a bit of a chat they were nice enough to let us finish the wines in our glasses, and they even put the top on a bottle of wine we hadn't finished to take with us. So there's that. The bill arrived quickly, and with the 10% they added to the bill, we'd spent about $140pp. So we continued the night at the Hollywood Hotel, then The Wild Rover (who we decided have the better cocktail list).
