::Mike & Mary (the hosts) at the Oasis Inn Cairns were an absolute delight. So warm, welcoming & friendly, they assisted us anytime we needed anything, no matter how late or early it was. The place was very clean (including the pool) & the location is ideal as it is close to the centre as well as the airport. There are many shops nearby, including a 24/7 convenient store. The pool area presents outdoor tables & seating which are convenient if using the free barbecue facilities. Great value for money, & we will definitely be recommending to our family & friends!

::Fantastic value for money! Convenient location - close to shops & all amenities, easy walk to CBD, pool always clean, rooms & bed linen were spotless & the showers never ran out of hot water. Staff were running around day & night assisting patrons, they were amazing! Absolutely recommend this place. Some ppl on here confuse serviced apartments with hotel accommodation. My cousin stayed in Cairns around the same time as us, they paid more than double the price we did, for not much more!

::While the rooms are a bit dated, the staff are great and we felt really welcome. The rooms are large and well lit, and the apartments are clean. Great if you are planning to stay for a few days to learn diving and explore the reef. Highly recommended.

::Cons: Could use a little paint. Pros: The rest. Great little place, with friendly owner, very helpful. Nice pool, big ( no, Huge) rooms, and everything you could want. Only stayed there 2 nights, but would love to spend a week or more there.

::We stayed at the Oasis Inn for four nights in a two bedroom serviced apartment. The Oasis Inn is rated as three star accommodation and is classified as budget style accommodation. The price was commensurate with the quality of the room decor, facilities and furnishings. The beds are comfortable, the room was clean and the air conditioner cold, however, the room did need basic maintenance and a fresh lick of paint. I recommend the two bedroom apartment for a group of four. It is comparable to four people staying at some of the local backpacker hostels.
