  The representative sent was very rude to my tenant and just barged into the house. He had no customer relation skills and was letting himself in and around the house measuring the floor without even asking about entering some of the more personal areas such as the ladies bedroom or WIR. Other people had been courteous enough to ask to do that. I was then called around to the tenants house to deal with this person. He was far better behaved when dealing with a Man.....I'm sure the ladies out there know his type. The part I personally disliked the most was when he had finished measuring and had given me a carbon pad to sign. When asked what am I signing he explained that It was just confirming that he attended the Quote. Upon reading the page he wished me to sign, it was clear to me that it was a contract for the completion of the job. I was infuriated by his dishonesty and him trying to deceive me. He then said to me that "what do you care, you're not paying for it anyway!" (It was an insurance claim) After reporting him to the insurer and insisting that they do not get the job OR come back again, And speaking with their manager to state that they cannot have the job I receive a phone call from them a several weeks later asking me to come in to finalise the job.....They were not even Authorised yet to have the contract. It was another underhanded way of getting me into their shop under the guise of a contract to which they have no authorisation.....They also like to quote the Term "Australian Standards". Well, there is no Australian Standards for the installation of a floor covering. The Materials and manufacturing of the covering yes, but the installation NO. Don't fall for that one folks. A manufacturers or Industry Standard is NOT an Australian Standard. I had quite a large contract to replace a whole house with flooring. They have lost it by having very poor customer service and through misleading and at times sneaky operations. Sorry to say but Read everything they want you to sign, if your careful you will be ok. Another thing......For Christ Sake Clean up your creche area! When I visited the showroom it was an absolute pig stye full of dirty and broken toys, I would not put my child in there for anything. This was at 9:00 in the morning by the way. It doesn't match the professional look that you are attempting to achieve.

  Shopped with my wife at Odyssey Carpets in December 2015 for our new house and I must say that after visiting 3 stores they were the best out of the 3 and got our business. Great looking store. Highly recommended.

  Used Odyssey Carpet twice for my investment properties and each time they were extremely helpful, great product selection and very competitive price. Will definitely use them again.
