  Rented a lovely place in Paddington with Juliet Carr as the property manager. Juliet was very responsive to maintenance requests, as well as being understanding and helpful whenever there was something we needed. She and the rest of the team members we met over the course of the tenancy were a pleasure to deal with, and it was with regret that the next place we happened to rent was not with Place West.

  Thank you Juliet Carr who managed the place I rented last year. She was very responsive to questions and problems we raised during our tenancy and respectful to tenants. The owner of the place also happened to be very responsive to issues so it was quite a pleasant stay.

  Horrid experience. Took photos prior to moving in as the condition was disgusting. Eventually leaving the property they claimed damage that we took photos of prior to entry. (have received full bond back at every other place I have rented in my life – except here!) At one point only one door of the 4 entry points of the property was secure. (security issue for a solo female tenant!) This issue took 3 months to fix only after suggesting that I stop paying rent. Would arrange inspections and not turn up (happened twice in one year) Would say that I didn’t pay rent but when asked to provide the ledger would give me statement from 2 months prior and no other evidence. Took four months to receive bond back (after dealing with the RTA for most of that time) - NEVER have I had such issues with a real estate. If you are an investor - don't go through this agent (they won’t look after your property or tenants). If you are wanting to rent - consider sleeping in your car before these agents as this would be a lot less stressful.

  My experience with Place West was mainly with Juliet Carr who managed the property. She was always quick to respond to questions via email and kept me up to date. They were fair and reasonable during the end of the tenancy.

  Very pleased with Placewest during our 4 year tenancy with them. They were always very responsive, professional and easy to deal with. Our most recent property manager at Placewest was Juliet Carr. She was always quick to respond and kept us up to date with any tenancy matters. Communication was easy and getting our full bond refund at the end of our tenancy was straightforward and hassle free. Thanks Juliet and Placewest.
