  Best wood fire pizza in the area; huge pizzas, loads of topping, reasonable price, a bit of a wait, but that's the cost of such delicacy. Store's hard to notice from the street but on the inside it's the best place for dinner when it gets dark.

  Portone is our local and favourite restaurant. We eat here at least once a week. The pizza is the best in Melbourne and better than some of the wood fire pizzas in italy (big call, but stand by it). The service is brilliant, the manager/owner is super friendly and it’s a pleasure eating here. Don’t usually review but posted this when friends mentioned that we need to make people aware of outstanding local businesses. Visit Portone (but don’t steal our seat)

  Where has this been? Absolutely amazing woodfire pizza. The best in Bayside I would say. I have tried many woodfire pizza places and this one is hands down the best. Definitely recommend it all.

  Seriously delicious pizza's - the best pizza bases I reckon I've had in Melbourne. The owner and the staff are really lovely too, clearly very passionate about their food. Tucked away and often quiet compared to the hustle bustle Carlisle, or Chapel Streets, but honestly leagues better to any pizza I've bought anywhere else nearby. Definitely worth a visit.
