  Insurance is provided by TAL not Qsuper. Qld government used 5 billion super money to balance budget so will not pay claims. For a 40 year old its $400 a year for $200,000 death benefit or tpd.

  After I had made repeated unsuccessful calls to the QSuper contact centre over 5 days trying to locate missing withdrawl funds of $2500 from my Accumulation a/c, I requested that the matter be escalated to a senior officer. I was told very bluntly that this definitely wouldn't be happening because any senior QSuper officer would only provide the same response as the staff in the contact centre. I found this 'advice' to be not only arrogant but also galling, misleading and downright unprofessional as the contact centre officer was basically telling me '.. the QSuper contact centre rules the roost here and contacting anyone more senior (including the CEO) would be a waste of time' In an effort to resolve the impasse created by the Contact Cente, I visited the QSuper Branch office in Eagle St Brisbane where my request for the matter to be escalated was actioned immediately by two very helpful QSuper officers, Cassidy and Michelle, who met with key operations staff to expedite efforts to locate the missing $2500. Thankfully, the missing funds were located shortly afterwards.

  The last 2phone calls today 1hr 30minutes and 3days ago 3hrs. Totally unacceptable service. Worst I've ever experienced from any company.Qsuper never used to have such poor service,whatever the changes that were made need to be seriously reviewed,particularly for short questions. Sincerely D.Lowe.
