  Very basic accommodation but good for the price. It has the essentials. It's well positioned and a good base to get around Melbourne. The room service lets the place down. Coffee is served in a paper cup and the food is very basic.

  For $199 a night this place is not worth the money. The apartments are old: stained carpet, dirty windows, half painted ceilings. The shower was the most uncomfortable one that I've ever had. There is a lot of noise from the railway tracks that are right next to the building. The ground floor also smelt like someone had been smoking weed in some spots. The gym is decent but needs more equipment to handle the peak usage of it. The indoor pool and sauna are good. I would not recommend this hotel.

  Nice hotel Central position. Little tired but clean and all amenities in apartment. Beware close to rail tracks. So bit noisy...pool, spa and gym great

  Never fails. Stayed about 5 times now. Our hotel of choice over newer hotels. Old fashioned feel with perfect facilities and walking distance to just about everything.

  Very good hotel with "old time" grandeur, set in a magnificent historic building adjacent to the railway lines. I love trains, so this was actually a big plus for me. :) . Close to Spencer Street/Southern Cross station, so very easy to get to and from here from trains, coaches, or the Airport Express terminal.
