  Great view of the beach. Fully self contained. Clean comfortable and very relaxing. Good rates.

  Went there with a group of mates a while ago. We found 22 cockroaches in 6 days, there were marks all over the walls. As soon as we arrived the manager was an hour late and wouldn’t let us check in until she arrived. She then proceeded to give us a lecture and threaten us. Before we even arrived she threatened to cancel our booking. After all of that my mate asked her if she wanted us to go somewhere else because management said to us “look I really don’t want you here at all”. Management then said no it’s fine you can stay and ended her spiel with “enjoy your stay.” Did not like it here at all and do not recommend!

  Undeterred by some earlier reviews we entered our stay with an open mind and we were very pleasantly surprised. The location is unquestionably the best we have experienced in more than a few stays on the Gold and Sunshine Coasts - on the beach a handy short walk to the river and well maintained pool, what more could you want. Add to that ample parking close proximity to bus stops and reasonably handy shopping. The management and staff were at all times helpful and pleasant. The exterior of the building is nearly complete and our room had been freshly painted. We had been warned about the state of the carpet and no doubt this will be attended to under the maintenance programme. The bottom line is that you usually only get what you pay for, in this case we believe we got great value which left us with the desire to make this our base for future Gold Coast holidays.   Great location. That's where the good starts and finishes. The first night I was there, I couldn't sleep as an appliance was faulty and made a loud noise throughout the night. I brought this to the attention of the staff at 9am the next day. At 2pm they tell me it will be another 2 days before it can be looked at. Which meant 3 sleepless nights. When I initially asked them if I could be moved to a different room, they said they were fully booked. But when I checked the web, they had 2 empty rooms. I decided to checkout and find accommodation elsewhere as I needed sleep. Yet they charged me for 2 nights even though I stayed 1 night only. Their reason was because it was past checkout time of 10am. But they didn't tell me it would take another 2 days to have the appliance "looked at" until 2pm. If I'd known this before 10am, I would have checked out sooner. Glad to be out of that place. Never again.

  Initially the person at reception was a little short; could have had a hard day but still they need to remember who they represent and what their role is. Other than that, first rate everything else. Oh wait; should you have an adult/guardian by the pool when minors are there and not leave 10 year old? kids to look after them. Not management responsibility but reflects poorly; you know what I mean.
