  My nephew and wife and toddler stayed over christmas and I found it lacking in actual hospitality, the manager was somewhat snobbish and there wasn't even a coke machine or anything in reception. Other than that It's a very nice comfortable place I a great location, close to local shops and a 4 minute bus ride to cinemas, supermarkets and outlet shopping. Directly across the road is The Broadwater with a lagoon for safe swimming for the kiddies and if you wanted them to build their own sandcastles (pun intended). Or you can just hang around in the beautiful pool on the grounds. Restaurants and The Grand Hotel are also stones throw for drinks or dinner 7 days so all round a perfect spot for the family or romantic escape away from it all I give it stars.

  I have stayed at Sandcastles 3 times and have enjoyed each stay. The accommodation is clean and comfortable, and extremely good value for money. The resort is very well located, across the road from the Broadwater, and close to a whole heap of restaurants, cafes, and the Grand Hotel. It can be quite noisy in the units close to the road, espcially on ground level, but its not a deal breaker. Staff were always very friendly, helpful and courteous. Keep up the good work.

  Easy check in/out. Lovely reception staff. Yes, the rooms could do with a coat of paint and a bit of a freshen up but they were clean and certainly big enough for us. Well equipped, 2 TV's, full kitchen (although no bottle opener-not an issue; just drank wine instead), air con lounge and main bed, fans in other two rooms. The pool was beautiful and well maintained. Would definitely recommend staying here with a family.
