  Ross never fails to give a fair deal often at the detriment of his profit margin..i have always bought my boards there and will continue to do so...not to many store owner shapers left...quality ones anyway.

  Really great service and helped me out when I desperately need to get my board before going away on a surf holiday to South Coast. They were life savers and managed to get it fixed so I could use my board on holiday. These guys are amazing and highly recommend them! They also have free coffee in shop which was wicked I waited for my board to be fixed. Ross is the man to get your injured, sad, unhappy board to be ripped again! Love these guys Shaun

  DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE GUYS! In short, I rented a broken un-usable surfboard for $80. Someone at the shop even said it should be in the bin. I ended up using my friend's board instead and they wouldn't give me a refund or even any money back. I hadn't surfed before and I rented the board over the weekend for $80. I could see the board was fairly old when I rented it but not knowing anything about surfing, I trusted the owner to provide me with something usable. After trying to surf for the first time with my friends who have surfed for years, they said that this surf board should be in the bin since its completely water logged. I ended up using my friend's board instead. Then when I returned the board to the shop, an employee said "yea I've been telling the boss to throw it out for a while now", I mentioned the water logging and he said he agreed that it was definitely water logged. I asked for a refund or at least a discount but I was told that I would have to speak to the boss but he wasn't there. I asked for the message to be passed on and for him to give me a call. I got a call the next day from the employee again saying that the boss wasn't around, but that they could provide me with another board and rent it out for a few days for free. I said I just wanted a refund or at least a discount instead since I plan on buying a board so I wouldn't be renting again. I kept asking whether it was fair to rent a board for $80 when it should be in the free section of Gumtree but got no answer aside from "I can't give you a refund and the boss isn't here"
