::The place is small, but the experience is exceptional. Although the Australian Maritime Museum in Sydney is bigger with additional vessels for you to explore in, this museum is awesome in its own right. The history and artifacts collected taught me a fair bit about local exploration, maritime travelling and marine life, especially the river dolphins in Port Adelaide. I highly recommend it.

::Only serious history buffs or children need apply. Man at the front desk talked up the interactive boat you could go on as the main attraction, not very impressive, the ladders leading down on the boat led to pointless small rooms with not much in them. Trying out the interactive surfboard on the top floor was a joke. Lots of interesting stuff about captain James Cook. The display of a decapitated dolphins head was confronting to say the least. Lowest floor was somewhat entertaining for 5 minutes. If you're 14-37 and not a serious history buff just give it a miss.
