However, Toyota corrected the issues alongside refunding the costs of the work carried out, refunded some fuel costs (as a result of my multiple visits) and detailed the car. ::My family and I were staying in for the weekend in Brisbane when the air con on our car (still under warranty) died. We were headed home on the Monday and rang ahead to see if there was any chance we could get it looked at so we wouldn't have to drive the almost 6hrs without aircon. I was told we could bring it in and they would look at it asap. Great! We drove across town hoping it may just be a simple, quick fix only to be told we would have to wait about 3 hrs for them just to have a look and if would cost $165 just to plug it into their computer. So why tell me you could do it for us straight away when clearly you couldn't care less about me and my family? I was furious!
