  I called up for a quote to fix a fly door lock, was told $200. I said I think I figured it out now, as wood is too shallow for lock, tgen scraped it out with a screwdriver, but guy was not interested in helping. Then I asked for five window locks replaced and adked for price, the guy was rude and said its $100/hr and then I said oh $125 for five locks and he said starting from $25each and wouldn't give me a ballpark figure or discuss appointment times, actually just hung up on me!!! unfortunately this guy had no manners to a female and I will not be forking over my money to them. If he said hes busy or its hard to estimate, I would of understood. I see good reviews for big jobs, but another bad one for a small job too.

  I was very impressed with the service provided to me by SPL. My order was for a low value item (some hinges for my boat) not normally stocked by the company, however Louise, the showroom manager, went to great lengths to procure the exact part I needed. She kept me up to date with the procurement process over the lengthy time it took to fulfil the order. I highly recommend the company and thank them for their service. They were a pleasure to deal with.

  I went into SPL's showroom looking for mid-century modern lever door handles. The counter staff were helpful and friendly and gave invaluable advice on size and fit so the new handles would cover the old holes and I could install the them myself. Very happy.
