Great view of the city. Well organized cinema venue that’s cleaner than you’d expect. Only downside is the lack of transit options available once you’ve finished your film screening.

The backdrop is second to none - great experience overall. Especially if you have guests / relatives coming from overseas For $40 a ticket would expect a better quality seating experience - plastic seating which isn’t even secure is really substandard. Also - insufficient tables / seating for food and drinks is made available to the number of guests. Over the past few years they have significantly increased the seating capacity which has adversely impacted the experience. I’ve been going annually for a long time but not sure I would go again.

The cinema is awesome! Great sized screen, perfect sound and ok seats (I recommend getting one of the padded cushions there). Sadly though, the food here is awful. Chiswick, the cinema's dining partner, is clearly relying solely on its name, rather than the quality of their food. The burgers are dry and bland, the fish is dry, the salads are very ordinary, the presentation is what you'd expect from a highway truck stop, and there's very few vegetarian and vegan options. If you can, definitely eat before arriving. But once again, the cinema itself is awesome!

The open air cinema at the incredibly picturesque Lady Macquarie's Chair, is one of the best things anyone could do. A great way to start the year! Drinks average $10 a pop and meals around $20 but as a once a year experience it is definitely worth it👍😁

One of the premiere Sydney experiences! Book early or stand in line for limited day-of seats. Either way, this is the ultimate date night or group outing. While the movie is important, there are easier ways to check out the latest film. However, on a beautiful evening, sharing a meal and a movie at this limited engagement venue is as iconic as it comes. This is an experience you won't soon forget!
