  Since they re-opened the quality has dropped. When I went here with my partner we ordered double waffles of different types and somehow ended up with one of each despite not ordering that. They also forgot my coffee and still tried to charge me for it. Not particularly impressed. However the staff were friendly.

  The only reason I give 4 stars instead of 5 is the same - my table wasn't wiped before I was seated. I got cream on my shirt and got sugar everywhere. Food was great. The staff were friendly and nice. But please, clean tables between customers!

  My wife was in the mood for waffles and Sugar Maples promised to deliver. The coffee was quite good and our waffle was suitably yummy. The place may lack a bit in its layout, but it was friendly enough and they had a range of choices if you didn't feel like waffles or pancakes.

  So as I sit here waiting for my food, I have brushed away sugar, salt and pepper from my 'cleared' table. I can see one staff member who is lacking in training and direction. There are two tables that have not been cleared and one table full of disgruntled customers who appear to have been waiting for their order for a very long time. Two potential customers have already walked out the door after waiting for service. The floor is disgusting and requires thorough sweeping and mopping! My partner and I thought we'd give this place a shot after seeing some of the reviews but probably won't be back... And as we are writing this review, some customers have cleared their own table, other customers are returning dirty coffee cups and now customers are complaining about waiting over an hour for their food. The environment itself is warm and the set up is lovely, however I do not feel welcome. We've been here for about 30 minutes and are regetting our decision to come here for breakfast. Let's hope the food is much better than the service... Very disappointed! Solution: Have trained staff! It would be ideal if a junior staff member was working so tables can be cleared, food can be taken out, orders can be taken and general cleaning can be done! The look of dread on the staff members faces as customers come in is appauling! Probably get that fixed too...
