::Great american style comfort food. When you dine it, its a great experience with friendly staff. NEVER order on uber, they take to long and forget items, the first time forgot my wings, the second time my pink lemonade. So disappointing.

::honestly, if I could give it a negative, I would! Been interested in going here for months, finally did ... and wish I hadn't! The filth in this place, months of dust and grime all over the shelving was warning enough to demonstrate these people were not too worried about combining an eating experience with filth. So I just ordered a bowl of fries with some kind of Texan bean mix with cheese and sour cream. Fries were cold, the saucy bean mix was pre-mixed and came in a bottle much like a tomato sauce bottle ... the cheese was thin and watery ... so too was the sour cream! How can anyone pass this garbage off as food??? $10!!! for what constitures a "medium" serve of fries from HJ's! Disgusting! What a waste of time and money! How do these people stay in business? Ugh! If I had actually BEEN in an American diner ... the food would have been REAL! Not pre-mixed in a bottle ... and definitely a huge serve! For $10 I could have gotten a complete meal anywhere else!@

::One hour wait for a plate of tater tots(potato gems). And only one eat in customer before us to get served. There were two of us. We ordered a milkshake each and similar deep fried plate of potato gems and fries. The milkshakes took 15 minutes and 20 minutes respectively to come out. And guess what. One was the wrong flavour. Instead of waiting another 15 minutes it was decided to take what was made. After an.interminable wait the meals came out one at a time 10 minutes apart. I will never eat here again. Very poor service for a simple deep fried meal.

::If I could give minus stars, I would. Absolutely disgraceful customer service. Had Scoopon vouchers & they wouldn’t be honored. Must have 24hrs notice if you want to dine in, even though no one is sitting in!! Didn’t even try the food with such appalling customer service. Walked out!!! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME!!!! Go somewhere else.

::I love sugar shack. It's a small and busy place so be prepared for long waiting times. The food is ALWAYS SO GOOD and filling. Never had a bad experience with their staff. If they accidentally run out of ingredients they offer free shakes or starters to make up for it. We will keep coming back!
