  The worst place to purchase anything. The Manager is rude, unprofessional, dishonest and disinterested. Im not suprised a very large store has very little stock, very dirty, unkempt and few customers. The Manager should have a look at what other stores are offering with range and service, but Im guessing he is not interested in showing any interest in his competitors or customers. I was appauled by his attitude. If you want good ranges, good service and professionalism, head to the corner of Flinders Lane and Elizabeth St, Travellers Souvenirs & Luggage, where all stock is 40% off. You will thank me.Happy shopping, just not at Sweeneys. I just noticed your post, the problem is, it was the manager, as I asked if I could speak to the manager and was informed that he was the manager. A very bad example of a manger, appauling.

  Have always had great service here when having cases repaired. Do a lot of travel and unfortunately have had to go there numerous times over last decade as airlines have damaged cases. Always fixed fast and free for me as I have had Vicorinox cases with a warranty. Have also bought cases from them as they are much cheaper than retail stores and online stores.

  My bag was irreversibly damaged during a long-haul flight I was sent there was a letter. At 9am the gentleman at the counter was extremely helpful, the process was simple, and even gave me options to my replacement. Couldn't ask for a better calmer service when faced with broken luggage and a pending 30 hour travel itinerary.

  When my beloved bag was damaged (beyond repair) during a recent flight the airline sent me to Sweeney's for a replacement. I couldn't have found them more helpful - answering my questions, suggesting various options to make sure I got the bag that was right for me. I asked to use the airline credit towards a better quality bag which they were more than happy to do & gave me a very competitive price. Thank Sweeney's! you've now got a customer for life :-)

  I have always had professional and honest service from this company. Have recommended them to others as well, who report exactly the same. Bags are better than available at most other stores. I took a vintage bag in several months ago. Was not in any hurry to pick up as daughter was only going to put bag on display. The repairer said he would do it between other jobs. Leather was restored and inside cleaned and stains removed and rust removed. Picked it up last week. Leather repaired, Inside cleaned and the repairer came and advised how I could keep it up to scratch. Bag was over 60 years old and valuable in its current condition so he advised no further repair work should be done. was extremely happy with work that had been done.
