  We were passing through Tamworth and had our alternator replaced on our 2010 prado here, customer service was ok as they helped us out at short notice but they took a lot longer than the 1 hour they had originally quoted. We dropped the car off at the arranged time 2.30pm and didn’t drive out of there until 6.00pm. Through this time we were waiting at the service center as we had no problems with the hour wait but as time ticked on the service people didn’t even bother to give us updates and let us know what was going on and we had to ask them and the only response we got from them was it won’t be too much longer. Now the thing that really bothered me was the workmanship, after getting the vehicle back I had a quick look at the part that was replaced and it was clear to me that no care was taken in the process, as cosmetically the new Alternator had dents and gouges on it like it had really taken a beating to get it into place, so this makes me wonder what else was damaged during the process. On top of this I had asked them to grease the propeller shafts in which they didn’t do. Very poor workmanship and as a Toyota dealer that services nothing but Toyota’s I expect better. Very disappointed. In fairness to them though they didn’t try to charge me anymore than the 1 hour labour they quoted. Very hard to find trustworthy mechanics these days.

  Online details said open at 08:30 but the parts people don't start till 09:00... Great way to start a busy morning having to revisit the same counter twice.

  Dropped in with a minor problem. Service staff right onto problem and attended to immediately. Upgrade to ECU performed. Extremely happy with service and politeness of the staff. Saved another trip. Well done.
