  Nice layout, beautiful big beer garden at rear, though access to this is only via a long flight of stairs, or the rear gate. I tried the local alcoholic ginger beer which is on tap... Yum!! Tasty meals at the bistro too, generous serves and you'll find all your favourite pub classics, with some more sophisticated dishes too. The kitchen struggled a bit because we were in a huge group (16)... Would have been better with a share platter or banquet menu. Still the food was tasty, if a little cold when it got to the table. I'll definitely be back, nice pub! There is wheelchair access inside and an accessible bathroom with baby change facilities.

  Awesome vibe inside and out. Beer garden is just beautiful with a kids playground, great music and beautiful food. If your visiting Tamworth then the Tamworth hotel is a must!

  staff too important and “busy” serving nobody to leave me without service for 15min. Sad to see country town pubs go this way.

  Great outdoor beer garden for a summer afternoon. Food was excellent and the staff were more than happy to accommodate requests. The friendly staff went out of their way to make it a great evening in Tamworth. We will definitely be back when passing through.

  We stopped into The Tamworth Hotel whilst on holidays and had a great experience. The staff were friendly and efficient and our meals were of excellent quality. The steak we had from a local meat supplier was great.
