  Great hotel close to Newcastle. Very clean and staff are helpful. The leagues club has done good restaurants and the pool is excellent. Would visit again. Travelled for business

  Great range of restaurants, good sized and clean rooms, great, friendly and efficient check-in staff. Have stayed there now on three business trips. Can recommend highly.

  Pleasantly surprised, was booked in on a work trip. The rooms are spacious & bed was particularly comfortable. Staff know what good customer service means. So why not 5 star? 2 things - the noise from the central air con/fan unit was loud & frustrating (you know when you hear something & it grates on you) & shower pressure. Minor gripes really. If your sensitive to noise avoid the 3rd floor.

  Always a favourite for a quick reality escape. Book in, turn off, tune out with literally no reason to leave the whole time you're here. Make like a lizard by the pool during the day, or catchup on sleep in the room, then enjoy dinner and drinks downstairs with no worries of having to get home until the next day. Do a little, or a lot. One of the best go-to places in Newcastle without having to travel all the way up the valley into wine country. Spa room is always a favourite for a max relax weekend, yet to try the newer King suites (most recently updated rooms although minus a spa bath).
