We have been attending the Forum Swim Academy for 6 years now and we have had nothing but warm and friendly help from all of the staff including the excellent swimming instructors (of which we have not had a bad one yet). Parking can be a problem but there are 3 car parking areas open at the time we attend (between 4 and 6pm).

I’m a regular customer of the forum for the last two years, 3 times a week. Currently I was asked two in a row to bring a towel while I was working out by a female PT called Jane, she’s so paranoid. She insisted that I gotta have towel when I worked out, cause I have signed the terms and conditions when I first joined the forum; however, people bring towels to the gym and not use them as I observe, so what’s the point to bring them in? On the other hand, two day ago, I worked out with a forum yoga mat, and did some abs trainings on the floor; the mat was either damaged or very old, because even though the colour was black, you can tell it’s dirty as you feel it. I’m saying this because my legs got bitten by some kinda bugs or insects, and I can see some blisters formed on my legs when I get home. Lastly, the car park area is also devastating. I was fined twice in a row for not getting general parking ticket, and the fines were $106 each. What I try to say is that other public gyms provide free car parking, so why I need to buy ticket every time I visit and it costs me 4.5*3=$13.5 a week on top of my gym fees. As a result of this, I need to end up buying a uni student ticket $80 for half year. I have to say that the forum provides top of the line facilities but with the issues of general hygienic condition and parking, it definitely needs to be improved, and also, I just feel like I was picked on by Jane, the forum trainer.

The staff are amazing. The facilities are top notch. Massive pool, rock climbing, basketball, classes (including Zumba!) and more. Main problem is parking, which you have to pay for, and the cost of membership if you aren't a student.

My girls have swimming lessons here. The staff are really good and the program is exceptional. The only problem is the parking, you have to pay for all day parking even if you're there for just an hour. Reconsider this UoN
