  We cannot speak too highly of our experience with Topic Builders. They have built us a high quality home which functions well and sits comfortably within its environment. In particular, we consider it a great advantage to have dealt with a local builder who maintains an in-house architect. This allowed easy and continuous consultation in the evolving design process. We were also impressed by the builder's rigorous analysis of engineering computations and welcomed professional advice regarding interior finishes. The Build process employed quality tradespeople who generally had established a longterm relationship with Topic Builders and dovetailed in well together. All the trades performed to a high level but special mention is made of the outstanding quality of the joinery. Also, importantly, on-site supervision was excellent, bringing all the strands together to ensure the result we wanted. We would recommend Topic Builders to anyone who values unique design, attention to detail and that feeling of being not just another client but a valued member of the team.

  Professional, knowledgeable, capable, innovative, friendly, caring ... these words describe Topic Builders. We've been in our Topic house for almost five years now and we still love it. We haven't had any cause to regret our decision to choose Topic to build our home all those years ago. Topic's team, consisting of Adrian, Paul, Buck, and Pete, looked after us and our house from our initial enquiries to the final hand-over. We know that we're not alone in that experience because all the other Topic house owners that we met during the initial phase of our home's design felt the same way. Topic's houses are individually designed so there's no volume builder, lowest of three quotes, mentality with Topic. Quality is their aim, both in terms of the construction and their service. If you want quality and value, and a company that takes pride in what it builds, then there is no other choice; choose Topic.

  It goes without saying that we absolutely love the house built for us by Topic Builders. More than that, we appreciate all of the time and effort the Topic team put into working with us throughout the process. After seeing some of the homes built by Topic Builders, we knew a quality home would be a given. The time the Topic team spent with us as we worked through multiple floor plans and budgets, made decisions including fixture and fitting selection for the house made the whole experience enjoyable and exciting. The Topic team throughout the process respected our ideas, plans and concerns. We continually receive compliments on our home including the finishes and overall quality of workmanship. We can concur this, after being in our house for 5 years we have not experienced one issue or defect with the build. During our build, Topic Builders and the team were professional, friendly, accommodating and above all, delivered an excellent product. Overall, our experience was enjoyable and we’d have no hesitation in recommending Topic Builders to anyone wishing to build.

  Have recently moved into my house designed and built by the team at Topic. It was truely a beginning to end service, from consultations with their architect to drinking a wine with the team to celebrate the handing over of the keys. They guided aspects along the way, remained flexible to my specific feature requests and keep in regular weekly contact during critical stages. There were no unwanted surprises and they followed up regularly after the build to check everything was working correctly, which it was. Should I build again, I will choose Topic as my house designers and builders.

  We built with Topic in 2013-14 and cannot recommend them highly enough! The whole process of design and build was handled with the utmost professionalism and ease. Despite our many changes of mind and our naivety at new builds, no question was left unaddressed and nothing was seen as a problem for Topic. Paul even went out of his way to source feature wood for our kitchen shelving and fire places from the burnt down St Kilda Pier! A real showpiece in our beautiful house. The quality of the house is impeccable. Not one single problem has surfaced in the 3 years we have lived here (something that we know is not true with other builds). For anyone building in the Geelong and surrounds area, we would definitely recommend Topic.
