  We went there today for lunch. It was 1pm and not many people there. We ordered 2 pasta and 2 burgers. For pasta there’s option if you want to add extra, eg chicken. Since the pasta were for the kids when the lady asked me if we want extra we said no. And I had a look at her order sheet there’s no mention of extra chicken. That was the longest wait we ever had. My kids are starving and finally the food came after 45 mins. And surprisingly we ordered 4 dishes of food only 3 sets of cutlery were provided. I needed to walk to the counter in order to get the 4th set. The burgers were not up to standard, pattie were dry and other food like egg and bacon were over cooked. One side of the egg was burnt. Pasta was ok. BUT we didn’t notice there were chicken on my sons pasta. We were all so hungry to notice anything abnormal. When we finished I went to the counter to pay. The boy advised an amount that’s $20 on top of it should be. I questioned and I did the maths quickly for him of the correct charge. I don’t know why but he then needed to refer to the lady who took our order. The boy apologized and said prices on his cashier and menu are different. Ok. The girl took over and told us an amount which was also more than it should be. I asked her again she said because of the extra chicken on the pasta. She said she asked me!! I said, yep you asked me but I said no. She said, but you had the chicken! I said I didn’t order extra and I should not be charged. In the end she didn’t charge us. Otherwise i would have asked her to show me her order sheet. I feel very disappointed about this restaurant. It has a good rating on internet but it’s not real at all. My feeling is they are charging us a higher price because they know we are not locals, possibly it’s the holiday menu they are charging us. I saw other people paying their bill without issue. People just pay and go. I wonder why it’s only us that there’s differnece in menu price and cashier price. This restaurant is not honest. And the chicken thing, are they thinking they can charge any price to a visitor? They force you to pay something you didn’t ask for. And her tone is like I am cheating. I would not recommend this retaurant. Dishonest is the worst thing at all.

  $15 pasta is good value. I had risotto but would get spaghetti next time as the risotto took away a lot of the flavor.

  So yum so full. Fabulous lunch with family for birthday. Excellent flavorful meal, brilliant chef. Highly recommend.

  Came in and asked if we could be served in 40 mins, answer was yes. We ordered straight away and were even a pest changing the menu slightly. Nothing was a problem at all, waitress was extremely friendly and happy to accommodate. Coffees and food came out pretty much straight away. Awesome quality, perfect poached eggs. Very happy customer, 10/10 for food, coffee and service. Well done.
