  Accidentally locked ourselves out of our apartment and both our real estate agent and strata couldn't provide a key due to it being the weekend. Called one locksmith who charged a high call out fee and wasn't at all helpful. Then called Balmain East Locksmiths who offered a reasonable rate and were at my apartment within 10mins. Couldn't pick the lock but had a special tool which allowed to push the door handle down on the other side. Made a difficult situation one of relief and would happily recommend them! Very happy customer

  It't not often you could really rate a business for turning you away. However i called Balmain locksmiths with a need to have an internal broken lock fixed during the weekend. I didn't need anyone to unlock it as i was inside the building at the time, but after calling I found out I just needed to swap the lock over which was a simple procedure. I told the person i spoke to that I really couldn't afford to spend a lot of money to get it fixed as it was an internal door and i could do with our the lock (but would prefer not to). Instead of trying to pressure me into enlisting their services, i was told that if i had a basic amount of handy man knowledge that i could replace it myself and save myself the money of enlisting their professional skills. That kind of frank honesty is rare to find amongst trades people, and the advice that i was given for free to fix the problem myself certainly endeared a huge amount of goodwill from me. Couldn't recommend highly enough.

  Accidentally locked myself out of my apartment when leaving for work. Was pretty desperate for a locksmith at short notice as i was running late for work and my work keys were in the apartment which i very much needed. These guys came through and got me in my apartment and on my way as fast as i could have possibly hoped for saving me from having a very bad day.
