  Adelaide Arcade is one of those old school arcades that oozes charm from the days before the Federation. There is a quaint cafe inside called Cafe L’Incontro which is a really good breakfast spot.

  Seems like all the Arcade buildings in Australia have the same style. We are from Melbourne and we do have it too. Even though they are quite similar, the one in Adelaide is smaller (just one lane) but has 2 storey and more shops. Surprisingly there are more than 3 coffee shops and a few other cafes. We got a coffee and spent some time walking around and looking at the shops. Quite entertaining but nothing really practical.

  Adelaide Arcade is unique in its architecture and wide choice of small boutique stores. Choice of stores ranges from the famous Haighs chocolate shop to hair stylists, shoe repairs, coffee shops, coin dealer, a specialist button shop, clothing alterations, jewellery stores, amongst others. It is a delightful arcade.
