  Was impressed when I was told that his liver shunt operation they felt was too dangerous at his age, also it had an abnormality as well. We were treated great by Sam and Steve.

  Just saw the lovely Sarah with our kitten with an injured paw, and she has such a great bedside manner, was so kind and thorough in her examination. This a such a great vet clinic! Our go to for any emergency situation (we’ve been there 5 or 6 times over the years). Highly recommend them. So good to know they’ve got your back when you’re at your worst with your fur baby. Thank you!

  Recently we had our 14 yo dog euthanised at Advanced Vet Care. We were quite upset when Tim the emergency vet sedated our dog before we walked into the room to say goodbye. She had been a patient at the hospital for a few days. He said 'step 1 has already been done' as we entered the consulting room (we weren't aware there were two steps to euthanasia). Our dog was totally knocked out, eyes unresponsive, deep laboured breathing and she wasn't aware that we were with her to the very end. This is unacceptable and more careful consideration should be given by the vet before rushing this incredibly delicate process. I had seen her a couple of hours earlier and she was awake and alert, despite having a terminal condition. My husband and I were so heartbroken and it still upsets me. I called the practice the following week and left a message for the practice manager to call me. I didn't receive a call back, which was dissapointing as we have spent several thousands of dollars over the years, paying for the best possible care. Our experience up until this point was positive. Our dog had been a patient at this practice for around 6 years. Sam is a fantastic vet, who certainly extended our dogs life and we are grateful for his expertise and care. Despite our final experience, I do recommend Sam to anyone needing the best care for their beloved animals.
