  Understandable why Australia post is making a loss. Had to rush from work to get to South Yarra post office today. Turned up at 4:55 and waited in a queue. Due to slow service, finally got to counter at 5:02 to verify documents and was told that they don’t do it after 5pm (despite closing time at 5:30) because ‘the process is lengthy and takes 10 mins’ and that it involves ‘scanning ID’. Must be difficult to scan 2 ID documents. The lack of flexibility and customer services is definitely a major contributing factor to the downfall of Australia post.

  Queue is too long I cannot even see the desks from here. There is always a genious that decides to close a post office at 5pm:(

  Not very good at reading names on parcels, apparently can't tell the difference between 2 businesses at the same address and don't care. Also lose items that have been sent.

  Service is ok on a good day, usually rude staff and unhelpful except the older guy is generally fine but had a weird sense of humour. Also long queues and poor parking spots.
