::I applied for a credit card at the Sydney branch many moons ago. I'm still waiting to learn of the outcome of the application (without any explanation as to the delay). I suspect that my first statement will be at hand before they bother to tell me that my cards are ready for collection. Very poor service.

::If you have a cheque to deposit you are going to have trouble. A cheque can only be deposited at a branch and there is only one in Sydney CBD.

::Staff have always been friendly and helpful. They even assisted me when my card became compromised and were able to get a new one sent to me within a couple days

::The staff here have been great to work with. Got all my accounts and cards setup quickly the way I wanted. A refreshing change after the horrors of dealing with 2 of the other majors.

::My business partner had to get an ID check for our new transaction account. Was half an hour before the branch was due to close, with no other customers in the store. Even though he was told by the very rude employee that it would take 15 mins, she wasn't willing to do it, and he would have to come back another day. Generally very happy with Bankwest, but the conduct of the employee of this branch was very poor.
