  Traditional English style pub but it has lots of Belgian/German beers very good choice!! Couldn't try food I'll do next time but I personally suggest a stop here! Staff very friendly thank you!!

  Dirty glasses, unhelpful staff, wouldn't trust their hygiene standards. Went here as a group of 6 travelling from Brisbane. Ordered at the bar where two of us were splashed all over our clothes with water as the girls were rinsing glasses. The bar staff just laughed, so unprofessional. We also saw the staff just dipping glasses into a sink full of water, and then rinsing them with spray water, before using them to serve. Looks like they are not washing their glasses properly. One of us just had a water, which tasted like it had an old lemon, lime & bitters taste to it, our drinks also had bubbles sticking to the glasses. A few of us working in the hospitality industry recognised that they don't wash their glasses properly and they were serving unwashed, dirty glasses. We asked a glassie how the glasses were washed,, because our glasses were clearly dirty, he was really unhelpful about it and said that the spray water is used to 'chill' the glasses before they put the drinks in them. Complete Bulls**t to tell customers, especially to ones that actually work in the industry. Never coming back here. I wouldn't trust their hygiene standards.

  시원한 맥주에 저렴한 식사. 한잔하기 좋은 곳. 운이 좋으면 댄스 파티를 볼수 있다. 15년전 퍼스에 처음 이주할때부터 이곳을 찾았으니 무척 오래된 단골인 셈이다. 이곳은 무척 다양한 얼굴을 가지고 있다. 한가할땐 퍼스의 그저그런 술집 인듯 한가롭고 또 어떨땐 미친듯이 흘러 나오는 음악에 비지땀을 흘리며 흥겨워하는 댄스파티....퍼스의 모든 술집을 통틀어 유일하게 자기만의 색깔을 가지고 있는 술집이라 감히 말하고 싶다. 한잔 술에 음악 이로서도 충분하나 가끔은 시장한 손님들에게도 한몫을 한다. 무엇을 주문하든 보조로써의 몫을 넘지 않는다. 레스토랑이 아닌 술집으로서의 자존심이라 생각된다. 그러나 난 개인적으로 이 가게의 음식을 좋아한다. 그대가 바쁘다면 여유로운 주말오후 따스한 햇살을 만끽하며 실내가 아닌 야외 테이블에서 간단한 음식과 맥주한잔 ...마주 앉은 상대가 사랑하는 사람이라면 더욱 로맨틱한 시간이 되겠다. 이번주말 한번 찾아봄이 어떨련지....,

  * edit see below as Google hides the second paragraph * Great selection of classic European beers. Reasonably priced, traditional Germanic influenced Belgian cuisine with local twists. Highly recommended. *Originally five stars but the subsequent bar service has been appalling, particularly the tall chap with redish hair. Other posters have commented on beer snobbery. I think it's more lack of pride in your work... Such a shame. We all have bad days, but those who are customer facing have to at least make an effort. To go out of your way to describe your elaborate process of preparing and washing the glass, pouring the beer and the cutting off the head shows respect to the traditional craft, and after all, it's what makes this place unique. Slapping a pint glass down with nearly two inches of head and no eye contact deters custom and is akin to freshers week at uni. Lovely food. Lovely beer. Sub-par management. Such a shame.

  I really want to give this place a five star review, especially since the beers are phenomenal. The staff! Oh, the staff! One young fella couldn't pull his nose out of the air to give anyone a smile. Yes, you're a beer snob... I get it. I got a hello and sorta smile from the other fella. Atmosphere on a Sunday seems pretty vibrant. No tables available outside which is a good sign. Food looks good and I wouldn't normally leave a review without eating, but I'm enjoying one of the most powerful and tasty stouts I've had in years (Sea Devil), and am on my way after. Cheers!
