::Nice hotel overall if you like spending time outside in the garden, playing darts/pool or drinking coffee in the library. The place has a nice ambiance. Pool + Spa was extremely dirty, heavy grime build up in the spa especially. Dry sauna + spa jets were out of order. Rooms are semi decent besides older bathrooms, beds are clean. Not worth what we paid $220p/n.

::Beautiful hotel with lovely decor. The Italian restaurant attached was fantastic. There is also lovely lounge/bar with fireplace. We had a great stay!

::A total disappointment for a $300/night accommodation. Don’t be fooled as the exterior and the interior around the hotel look way better than the actual rooms. The most shocking was the really old bathroom in desperate need of renovation: no bath tub in a “family” room designated for families with children, shattered sink, shower black with grime between the tiles, cracked tiles, peeling sealant between the wall and the sink. The room was also poorly designed as the light on the AC unit is too bright for people sleeping right beneath it. Try sleeping with a green moon shining into your eyes and say it’s no big deal. It would have been justified if it were half the price, but at $300/night it certainly doesn’t meet the expectations. P.S. Are the photos illustrating the point censored by the hotel? They don’t show up.

::I only stayed for a short time but the hotel is very nice. The only complaint was that the room I was in was fairly small and there was no way to sit upright anywhere in the room (no chair and you couldn't lean on the headboard of the bed because it was poorly attached). Mind you I was in the most basic room they offered so ignore this issue if you are in a larger room

::This place is a palace... Very nice hotel... lovely staff. If you've ever been to the Drake in Chicago... not quite on the same level but lets just say its a mini version of that. Its got history, elegance and a touch of flare. Rooms are smallish but cosy. An elegant restaurant, a gym, indoor swimming pool and a games room aka pool/billiards table, oh and a lounge (old style cigar room, but of course smoking indoors is illegal), where you could have a game of poker or chess or read a book in peace. This is a beautiful hotel in a lovely town.
