  As a Best Western member I prefer to stay with them. They meet my requirments. If there's a cheaper option, as an old age pensioner, I have to take it. Best Western Hovell Tree Inn ia my preferred stay in Albury.

  Nice location within the town. Close to park, convinience stores, restaurants, and gas stations. Room is decent and well furnished, although a lack of a drink and bread toasting table is a bit problematic. When I stayed there, my window view was only another room and the parking below. This creates a bit of a privacy issue.

  Stayed here twice on a trip from Melbourne to Newcastle and back. Great service and reasonably priced food that tasted fantastic. We’d stay here again definitely

  Very Very disappointing and depressing stay. We had made an advance booking in January for a 2-day stay on 23-Mar, 24-Mar weekend and were travelling with a small child. We were shocked to find that our room was not in the main building of the hotel but in a nearby block which perhaps is an additional property of the hotel. It was nothing like what is displayed on the glossy pictures of the website. This was not mentioned to us during booking or even during check-in. The front desk curtly let us know that it was the luck of the draw and the room allotment was not dependent on when you booked it. There was very little we could as we checked in This 2nd building was like a cheap motel room nowhere which did not deserve a 250 $ price tag per night. This room had no window or outside view and was a below average room like a cheap budget motel room. The front desk seemed to acknowledge the overpriced premium price for that room. This is the last time we will be staying at Best Western and will advise people to stay away. Not sure why I needed to pay a premium price for a sub-standard room which actually should cost half the price what is advertised. The least Best Western should do is reclassify the rooms and price tag it appropriately. Not sure how long this has been going on but is certainly misleading.
