This was great fun, kids loved it and the self guided audio tour means you go at your own pace

The Brig "Amity is a replica of the origin Brig that brought the original first settlers to Albany. It is an amazing exact copy. The lady who was the person who gave us the information telecoms pieces that relayed to you the history of the brig was a mine of information, she was also very friendly and chatty who was extremely enthusiastic about the history of Albany and the "AMITY".

We just went to see it cause our 4 year old wanted to see it. I had no idea what I was stepping into. The history, the impact, the craftsmanship and the knowledge gained was twenty times worth the price. I really liked the way they had dramatised the audio tour. The 21 audio markers are effective yet only two spots in the cargo were disappointing. I’m sucker for history and for me this was the highlight of my trip. This is where Albany began.

Touristic place. You can go in and take photos and there is a small fee if you want to com into the boat for a tour. Friendly staff and therr is a nice view of the ocean. There is parking available but unfortunately the surroundings are not good enough compare with the ship. Just took the pictures and did not do the tour so I cannot say whether the tour is worth it or not.
