  I recently needed a picture hanging hook for my apartment. Problem was I needed it in a hurry and I wasn't sure what size. Remembering that Mitre 10 was on Elizabeth Street I went down and was surprised at the great range they had as I assumed I would be limited because they were right in the CBD. This was not the case and I found the whole store had a great range of products. After narrowing my choice down to two hooks that might be suitable I asked at the counter if it would be alright to buy both hooks to take home and compare to wall at home and then return the one I didn't need. I was served by Bec at the counter and she was great and said no problems. Long story short one of the hooks did the job and when I returned to the store a couple of weeks later Bec remembered me and processed my refund for the surplus hooks promptly and with a smile. Also worth mentioning is as I looked around the store during my first visit I wasn't sure where the hooks were and a nice gentleman who was walking between the shelving noticed I was lost and offered to show me where the hooks were and on another occasion I needed to find a hose clamp and another gentleman showed me to this area after asking if he could help. Needless to say this store is full of friendly and helpful people. I highly recommend their store!!

  Needed a padlock and found one without any trouble. Very friendly staff and a great selection of all things hardware!
