  I've been dining at Va Bene for years now and have never had a bad experience. Minimal wait time for food (even throughout peak time) , staff are friendly and the food is always amazing.

  What can I say. Stale bread and butter to start. Pollo chicken. Presentation done by a blind chef. Chips all over the plate, tough chicken ( hard to achieve). Mashed avacado sauce, or vomit avacado sauce. No flavor. Pasta average, at best. This place use to be great. Don't waste your money!

  Nice atmosphere and friendly staff, however my pizza was undercooked in the middle and bland, and my wife's saltimbocca was tough as leather and one piece tasted particularly bad. Wine advertised as 2012 was 2011, a bad year in SA, would not have ordered had I known. Would not eat here again.

  Went to Cafe Va Bene and caught up with a friend. Lovely big restaurant and not too noisy for a cafe. It was a warm evening , great wines and plenty of choice on the menu. Lovely garlic bread. The staff were friendly and attentive. We ordered fettuccine marinara and I had my favorite fettuccine putanesca. My friend was very happy with her marinara and I loved mine, the tastes were great. However, the biggest issue was the pasta was overcooked, which made it mushy and obviously not fresh. It was a disappointment for what was a pleasant evening.
