  Front tire exploded driving 100km/h. Tires on vehicle far below safety standards. Spare tire far below safety standards too. Stuck hours in desert found a motel in a village and back window smashed by locals. Camperman refuses to take any responsibility and wants to charge me for everything even though I had to cut my trip short and stay at motels all due to their extreme negligence. Very dangerous!! Do not hire here. Not even the slightest bit of courtesy. Also van very old, noisy airconditioning and generally lousy features. Shocked this is even allowed am taking my complaints to the authorities with my lawyer at this point as camperman is horrendously rude and they are clearly putting people's life at danger.

  We've had one trip with Camperman and are planning out second out of the Gold Coast. Our experience was a good one. We compared prices with other campervan hire companies and by the time we added everything we needed (such as insurance and a road toll token) Camperman comes up as the best value. The staff have been great. The year model of the campervan is written on their website. Some are newer than others.
