Nothing says cheap, than two singles beds pushed together, an a sign at reception saying 4 star hotel. When someone books, and pays in advance for two rooms, perhaps don,t demand a further credit card imprint (what are you, motel 6 or a brothel?). I notice you go out of your way to respond to the many comments online, perhaps if you put more effort into running a hotel, than social media, I would not be so disappointed with my stay. ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Dear Sam Tobin Your hotel service is rather dismal Your staff lack training Your staff also lie Your hotel had baby cockroaches in the room (I will be making a formal complaint to the relevant govt body in this matter) Your staff can't clean a room but can re stock the mini fridge.... Your staff acted like a teenager because they were caught out for lying Your excuse for split beds is pathetic, it means you are a cheap (yes I know of split beds, but at the rates you charge, I expected better) Your excuse for the credit card imprint is terrible, as your hotel, didn't take an imprint but clearly money from an account. When a customer pays in full, you take the risk of damage. And also, this is why you keep credit card details for such reasons, ie a credit card imprint not a deposit (as you run a hotel, not a rental property). The fact you tried to suggest split beds at a 4 star hotel is acceptable or that you don't know the difference between a credit card imprint and a deposit is a worry indeed. Also, hire more cleaners, having one cleaner to service three different properties is beyond stupid, it is unfair on your employee. ______________________________________________________________________ Update** - Email sent but no reply, so it appears social media is your only concern, not actual customer service.

Clean, tidy. Huge bath!! Comfortable beds. This is not the hotel if you are after a veiw. Unless your thing is to watch people working in thier office across the ally. Right in the middle of the city. Easy to catch trams.

We were given the wrong rooms upon arrival, (booked twin beds and given a king bed). One staff member was particularly rude about this but it was eventually resolved. Rooms had modern decor, but not clean. Found SMEARED FAECES on the toilet paper, hair in the sink and bath, sink kept blocking. Air conditioning sub par. Included breakfast was poor. Location was perfect though. I would not rate this a 4 star hotel.

Highly recommend this hotel. Very clean and comfortable rooms, (although the spa could do with a good scrub). Staff are very friendly. Stayed 3 nights including a continental breakfast provided each morning and free wifi too. Having stayed in various hotels in Melbourne over the years this hotel would have to be the quietest I have stayed in. The cost was very reasonable for being right in the city. Close to everything. The Thai restaurant at the hotel not only provided great food it was also great value for what you got. I would definitely stay there again.

A lovely experience! The rooms were clean, bed was made nicely, and the service was not bad. There were a few marks and cracks here and there, but I was still quite happy. And the restaurant downstairs was both cheap and delicious, and although the breakfast offered does leave much to be desired, for a cheap easy breakfast of cereal, toast, pastries, etc. it's quite good. It's all in a convenient location, and very quiet for the middle of the city! I would love to come back again!
