  Not a bad practise. The doctors are good. Expect to wait for up to an hour past your appointment time. This is the case almost every time I attend and appointment here.

  Usual scenario they were running behind. Sad part is I called at 12pm to reconfirm the time for my 12:15pm appointment - great opportunity to advise they were running late, but No - half an hour left waiting for a booked, 1 week in advance, long appointment worth $160, unfortunately given I needed a half hour appointment, had already waited a half hour and still had to get back to work I left. Have been before and have had to wait half an hour also - given they are a CBD doctor and most people only get 1 hr for lunch be really great if they could find a way to manage appointments better. I know doctors run late but there is SMS, email, phone allowing them to inform their customers they are 10, 15, 30 mins late - I could have left work at 12.45pm had I known and had ample time to attend. Have always had a good experience with doctors however once I have gotten into my appointment.

  Very well organised and helpful, you really do get what you pay for: A doctor who actually cares for your well being.

  Services here are expensive, at around $80-90/visit, but they have by far the best general practitioners/doctors in Darwin. If you have any mental health issues, or non-standard, tricky or complicated health issues, you can definitely trust these guys. They are polar opposites of the bulk billing doctors I've been to. The staff here have much more attention to detail, are experienced, knowledgeable, respectful and don't just hand out antibiotics an antidepressants like they're candy. Medical issues that have taken me multiple visits to address at a bulk billing doctor have been sorted out in a single visit at Cavenagh Medical.
