::The Mary Ellen This pub has really great variety of beer on tap, probably the best in Newcastle, bar Silo resteraunt that alone makes it worth visiting. Sometimes you have to reserve a seat, just for a pub meal. They will also sell you a meal without knowing if there is somewhere for you to sit and eat it. This has happened to me at least three times. The food itself is ok, its typical pub food. It's just very popular I guess.
