  I had the "Challa Beef Burger" it is by far the worst burger I've ever had. The menu claims that the "patti" (their spelling, not mine) was "homemade" but it was clearly mass produced in a factory and stored frozen, it was also not very tasty. The bacon was burnt. The bun was basic. The egg was overcooked and had a plasticy film. The waitress, upon ordering, proudly told us that the salad bar had been "topped up fresh today" which leads me to believe it is definitely not fresh every day. The pasta salad was quedtionable, having the sour taste of something that's very close to turning. I genuinely wanted to ask the chef if he had no budget for fresh food or had just given up on life.

  Since the recent (assumed) change in management I ordered Creamy chicken with capsicum + chicken schnitzel with gravy. Both meals took 20minutes considering there weren’t many people. I thought our server were rude and barely interactive. The Salad bar was a bit overwhelming with pepper but otherwise had good variety. We used a B1G1F voucher but would not return without the discount as the food and service just didn’t seem competitive enough.

  Plus side... We didn't get food poisoning I guess. Very slow / old bogan pub. Bad salad / veg bar, soup was not good at all! Cheap meals, but you get what you pay for really. Chips were about the best part of meal. Was rather nervous walking out to my car as I felt super unsafe with all the ppl in car park yelling and etc. Overall meal was edible but wouldn't return

  I ordered chicken with creamy garlic sauce. I had pure garlic spread on top of my chicken , no sauce at all. I returned it and was given the same chicken with most of the garlic scraped off and a gravy thrown over the top of the garlic. I demanded a refund. The bottled water from rusted taps and the bottle misty from improper washing. If I could post the pictures I took i would. Absolutely disgusting!!! Pick up your game its why your dining room is empty

  Challa Gardens is good value if buying a theme meal as it's only $13.50 including the soup, salad and veg bar. I usually order the veggie schnitzel and chips as I enjoy it and it's a healthy choice, as well as being better for the environment and kinder to animals. The chips taste good too. The drinks are a good price too as I can get a pint of beer for only $5. The napkins are thick and a generous size.
