::Surprised to stumble across such a lovely cafe open during the Easter break in Perth. We had been walking up and down the streets of Perth and couldn’t find anything that we liked. Reaching our hotel about to give up we find this cafe right under our hotel (Mercure). Not only did they have good coffee but good Filipino food also! Highly recommend the Bistek! Lovely service from the staff, even sat down with us to get to know us.

::I love that they added a twist to their Chicken Adobo Salad. A great alternative for people on low-carb diet! Their hot choco is also to-die-for. There is such a friendly vibe in this cafe especially on Friday nights, with a solo pianist or a jazz trio entertaining the customers with their lovely music. I even chanced a Friday night when there was impromptu sing-along and swing dancing! What a treat! Definitely a go-to place for great food at reasonable prices. Keep up the great work!

::Just had one of their $10 lunches and was very pleasantly surprised. Had the pulled chicken with mushroom gravy which tasted really nice and the coffee was also really surprisingly good as well. Best value $10 lunch I ever had. Staff were nice too

::More like chicken ado-WOW! The adobo is so good here and refreshing on salad and even more filling with rice. A quaint little cafe with a handful of breakfast and delicious lunch offerings. There’s also occasional Filipino ‘all you can eat’ evenings as well as French Group conversation meet ups. Filipino food is a welcome addition to the commonplace Thai and Vietnamese restaurants as it has a distinct flair of its own.
