::Translink, the most unreliable service you have to pay for. You guys should go to Europe to see how public transport is done. I come from a similar size city, we have 4 Subway lines, with, on peak hours, trains EVERY MINUTE, and buses every 10min. Here, if you miss your train, or your bus, you can call work to say you'll be 2 hours late.... and thats when your bus actually decide to show up or the train is not being fixed for a whole weekend every month... Unbelievable.

::A very handy train station which is pleasant to use, and easy to get to, from a number of suburbs, eg: Coorparoo, East Brisbane and Norman Park. It's well maintained and very clean, with plenty of sheltered seating areas. Public toilets are situated on the right hand side, along from the ticket office. It also has an amazing elephant mural, painted by the very talented Brisbane artist - Fintan Magee. Fintan has painted a number of large scale public artworks around Brisbane City. It would be a fabulous idea if all stations had their own unique mural painted by Fintan. There are two vending machines in the middle section of the station, serving chilled drinks and snacks, which some of the other train stations should provide, especially on a hot summer's day. Rubbish bins and the Translink Go Card reader machines are easy to locate and use. The station master is highly visible, ticket sales are available at the machine, or the office window. Hours are Mon-Fri 5.15am - 5.15pm & Sat - Sun-8-4pm, the station is well lit at night. I do like how close & accessible the car park is to the station, especially late at night. If you need to park and ride late at night, I would suggest Coorparoo Station, over Norman Park or Morningside Stations, which aren't as visible and somewhat isolated from public view. The station master is very community spirited, friendly and helpful, he often greets you with a smile, which is a very nice touch. Parking can be a bit of an issue during normal office hours, but otherwise, I've never have trouble finding a car space. Coorparoo Train Station is one of the better train stations to use from a commuter's viewpoint. It is a well utilised local community station, yet it never feels crowded or at capacity. It services a number of local schools in the area, so there are always plenty of school kids at the station after 3.00pm.
