  Marlene is as kind as she is stunningly beautiful. Her skill in handling hair is exquisite and truly second to none, I've watched her do something that looked fairly fiddly and complicated while holding a conversation with me about... Ghosts or history or something fascinating, my hair turned out great that day as it has with every other time. If ever her prices seem like they could be beaten elsewhere, believe me, you're getting a bargain for the quality of service you'll get from visiting her establishment. Some hair dressers have talent but no communication skill whatsoever, Marlene on the other hand is ingeniously clever to the point of making her skill seem nearly preternatural, she has this amazing ability to take those times where you only have a vague idea of what you want, and then realise it within a heartbeat, before going on to improve upon it in ways that wouldn't have even occurred to the lay person's imagination. If, however, your requirements are specific, you can actually just sit back and enjoy the conversation while Marlene works her magic. And don't be fooled by the darling little man named Zeus who guards the place, he may be.. Ahem... fearsome(ly adorable!) but he's squeaky clean, just as the studio itself , Bah, now I'm just rambling like a 'yes man', which is simply not the case, as anyone who knows me would tell you I'm the most nit lucky, glass-half-empty, here-have-some-opinions-to-improve-something you aren't sure you're being judged for kinda guy there is! Unfortunately, as any great artist, Ms Cupido has many, many, many demands on her time, get into those gaps as soon as even a rumour of them being free crops up, and don't feel put out if her appointments seem to run over the clock leaving you to wait, not only will your patience be worth it, you can bet that she'll pay just as much attention to detail when it comes to your chance to magic up your hair like, I for one, would never have expected in one person. Get to it, kids. :D

  absolutely adore here, marlene is so nice and great to talk to. never boring while in here & the creative minds of her. just had one bad hair do where i got orange hair instead of platinum blonde but all other times did so well.
