  Staff here seem to be fairly underqualified. Of the many times I have been here, I've very rarely been served by someone who seems to know what they're talking about. Stock remains fairly consistent here, not much changes. The men's shoe department is genuinely pathetic, literally smaller than the average bedroom. I don't know how, in this day and age, they can think that is reasonable. Only reason they're getting three stars is becasue they do have a good range of nice brands to choose from which generally don't have stand-alone stores in Brisbane.

  Check discounts very carefully. Sign said 30% off certain brands. Not all clothing in the stated brands were discounted. No way of knowing which garments were or weren't. Not transparent.

  Very helpful service at DJs buying a coffee machine last weekend. I got to try lots of machines out to get the model that suited me perfectly!

  Cosmetics staff are uninterested and pretentious. I walked in to buy one product. I was not served after waiting 10 minutes in an otherwise empty store, then walked out and bought the exact same product at Myers.

  As department stores go, DJs is nicer than Myer. This is one is decent sized, bigger than Toowong and smaller than the city. Parking at Indooroopilly is always a pain though.
