  I love this cinema expect for one thing - it is always freezing inside!! I even asked the staff if they can do something about it but they told me that the air condition is set upped to 22 degree. No way, it’s way less and unfortunately it is always like that. Otherwise it would be full 5 stars as this is really great place.

  Great local cinenma, friendly service, always clean and well presented. Great value tickets on more then just Tuesday. Rewarding loyalty program.

  Absolutely my favourite cinema in Sydney! I've been a member for the last two years & don't know what I'd do without it. Really great value & perks for members. I also love that they show smaller indie films, foreign films & theatre. I'm a fan of their special screenings as well, like their throw backs & quote-a-longs. I feel like they add to the great sense of community in the area

  Dendy doesn't charge booking fees for online bookings and are currently running a good promotion $8 tickets online booking this week. Cinema 9 is quite nice, cozy and good screen. Projection quality in 10 and 8 not as good. Made the mistake of booking seats 2nd row in downstairs cinemas, the screen is so high up. Great selection of foreign films.

  Dendy cinemas are great. You can buy beer and watch arthouse films. It's the perfect combination of fun and culture! The Newtown location has had some retro screenings lately, which is great fun. It can get busy of an evening, especially on weekends. It's easy to book online, so I usually do that to avoid the lines. You pick your seats online too, which means that you don't have to worry about all the good spots getting taken up before you arrive.
