::Visited him for an ingrowing nail problem on left foot. He had a look of both my feet and said he will remove the whole toenails of both the feet one for ingrowing and another one is fungal infections and someone needs to carry me to home after the sugary. It made me scared. Visited a podiatrist a week later and she said only the ingrowing part needs to be removed, not the whole nail and my right feet is not fungal, it just thick. Using a emery board she made it alright and later removed the ingrowing part from the root. From my experience, i will not visit Doctor Adam Rapaport again.

::Quite disappointed. Went in to get a small umbilical hernia fixed. I asked dr Rapaport if we can do keyhole surgery (because there is less scarring). He then said no, we will do the old method because it is 'stronger'. Keyhole surgery involves several tiny incisions which are hard to notice and the 'old method' involves one long incision Anyway, after the first consultation, Dr Rapaport advised that I was going to have a small scar under the belly button from the incision and I was fine with that... Several weeks later, On the day of the surgery, Dr Rappaport changed his mind and said that he is now going to create the incision on the side of the belly button and we went along with the procedure: Upon waking after the surgery, Dr Rapaport was beside my bed. After we exchanged a few words, I asked him "how long did the surgery take" and he replied "I can't remember... a couple hours maybe". I felt like I was just a number and I felt he didn't actually really care for his patients. Anyway, my incision was covered with bandages for 1-2 weeks, and after taking off the bandages, I came to find the incision was at least 6 cm in length and quite think too (5mm). It is very, very noticeable even after 1.5 years. Anyway, Dr Rapaport said that the hernia surgery was successful and that he had done such a great job that "the hernia will not recur even if I fell out of an airplane" (gotta laugh at this one lol) Anyway, approx 2 months after the surgery, the hernia recurred and it is a lot worse than before. It can actually be seen bulging out of my stomach slightly. I am very disappointed. Other surgeons I visited have advised that this old method is weak and outdated, and that keyhole should have been done to repair the injury from the inside, instead of just placing a 'bandaid' mesh on the problem from the outside (as dr rappaport has done) Do your research guys!!!
